King to host dinner for heads of NSS delegations
On Monday 24 March 2014 His Majesty the King will host a dinner at Huis ten Bosch Palace in The Hague for the heads of the delegations to the Nuclear Security Summit (NSS).
The dinner will be attended by Her Majesty Queen Máxima, Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Minister of Foreign Affairs Frans Timmermans. The heads of delegation will each be accompanied by a member of their delegation.
The NSS will take place on 24 and 25 March 2014 at the World Forum in The Hague. The goal of the Summit is to prevent nuclear terrorism around the world. Four international organisations and 53 countries will participate, represented at the highest political level. The first NSS was held in Washington, in 2010. In 2012 the second NSS took place in Seoul. President Obama asked the Netherlands to organise the third summit.
