State visit by the President of Italy
At the invitation of His Majesty the King, the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, will pay a state visit to the Netherlands from Wednesday 9 to Friday 11 November 2022.
This visit is intended to reaffirm the excellent relations between our two countries. The bonds between Italy and the Netherlands are strong. As NATO Allies and founding members of the European Union, Italy and the Netherlands share the same values and stand side by side in confronting the major challenges of our time. This state visit will serve to deepen this partnership, as Italy and the Netherlands work together to build a stronger, greener and safer Europe.
In 2017 the royal couple paid a state visit to Italy.
