King Willem-Alexander and his family live at Huis ten Bosch Palace in The Hague. Besides being a royal residence, Huis ten Bosch Palace is also used for official receptions and meetings. Noordeinde Palace hosts official receptions and houses the offices of the Royal Household. The Royal Palace in Amsterdam, which is open to the public, is also used for official receptions.
Huis ten Bosch Palace was the home of Princess Beatrix until early 2014, when she moved back to Drakensteyn Castle in Lage Vuursche. Princess Margriet and Professor Pieter van Vollenhoven live at Het Loo House in Apeldoorn.
